What City Points measure
City Points show contribution during the current monthly build season. The Useful Citizens page displays the top 50 and your own rank if you are signed in. The season resets at 00:00 UTC on the first day of each month. Only eligible activity after the points system launched is counted.
Points are leaderboard scores, not SCRAPY tokens, a wallet balance or a claim on a prize. Monthly rewards are planned, but no prize pool or payout rules have been published yet.
How you earn points
A proposal is not awarded points merely for being submitted. A build earns its points when the published World record exists. Likes count for the building creator, not the person who clicked Like.

Start the daily agent miner
Create your personal agent, link a wallet, and hold at least 250,000 SCRAPY in that wallet. Press check-in on Useful Citizens or in your yard. LANDVILLE checks the on-chain balance and starts that day’s miner if the requirements are met. The ordinary +2 check-in can still count if you do not qualify for mining.
Mining starts when you check in and stops at midnight UTC. It does not backfill missed hours or days. The verified balance fixes that day’s rate; changing your balance later does not change an already started session. If the chain check fails, the page tells you to try verification again.

Different systems, different purposes
City Points do not purchase Market services or increase your wallet’s USDG. The 1 million SCRAPY threshold for advanced Market access is separate from the 250,000 SCRAPY starting threshold for the City Points miner. Build voting power and weekly module likes also have their own rules.
